PADI Divemasters gotta know their stuff. We’ll teach you everything you need to know through knowledge development sessions, water skill exercises, workshops, and hands-on practical assessments. As a PADI Divemaster, you’ll not only learn how to organize and lead a bunch of scuba diving activities, but you’ll also become a pro yourself! You’ll be a role model that others look up to. How awesome is that?

WHAT CAN I DO AS A
PADI DIVEMASTER?

As a PADI Divemaster, you get to inspire and help others. You can do all sorts of cool stuff, like:

  • Look after divers and lead guided dives
  • Help out with scuba classes
  • Give briefings before dives
  • Train divers who need a refresher
  • Teach people advanced snorkelling techniques
  • Help out in Discover Scuba® Diving (DSD) programs
  • Teach some non-diving PADI specialty courses
  • Find awesome diving jobs at home or abroad
  • Level up your career by becoming a DSD Leader* or a PADI Instructor

*Discover Scuba® Diving Leader internshipo is included in our package to increase your spice. As a PADI DSD Leader, you will have the skills to lead DSD programs in confined water. You got this!

HOW DO I BECOME A

PADI DIVEMASTER
WITH NAUTICO?

To kick things off, here are the requirements you need to meet to start your Divemaster program:

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver certified*
  • Minimum 18 years old
  • 40 logged dives*
  • Completed an Emergency First Response® Primary and Secondary Care certification course (or qualifying course) within the past 24 months*
  • Medically cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months

*Not there yet? No worries. We offer 4/5/6 week Divemaster internships to meet you at the level you are at.

Through your Divemaster training, you will be tackling many knowledge development sessions, water skill workshops, and hands-on assessments covering many topics.
